Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home has been selected to become an exclusive, certified Veterans & Family Memorial Care Provider for Elkhart County.

Included in becoming a VFMC Provider, Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home has become an official drop off site for Cell Phones for Soldiers to help troops stay connected with their families.

Local residents can support the collection drive by donating their old or unused cell phones at the funeral home between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday and 8 am to noon on Saturdays.

The donated cell phones are sent to ReCellular, which pays Cell Phones for Soldiers for each phone, enough to provide an hour of talk time to soldiers abroad.
