Austin Robert Deitch

Austin Robert Deitch, 22, of Los Angeles, formerly of Edwardsburg, passed away Saturday Feb. 23, 2019 at his home. He was born Oct. 11, 1996 in Elkhart to David and Mary Beth (Foy) Deitch.

Surviving are his mother Mary Beth Deitch, father figure, Mike Myers of Edwardsburg, father David Deitch of Elkhart, brother Alex (Stephanie) Deitch of Elkhart, sister Nicole (Doug) Kyle of Edwardsburg, nieces and nephews: Doug, Christopher, Brinston and Maddi. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Vera Foy and Myrl and Betty Deitch, aunt Cathy Deitch, uncle Kenneth Vechera and cousin Tony Groom.

Austin was a Ready Mix truck driver for Associated Ready Mix Concrete INC of Los Angeles. Austin was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors as much as possible.

Friends may visit family from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 12pm on Friday March 8 at the funeral home with Rev. Patrick Hake officiating. Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery in Edwardsburg, MI.
