Brian Belt Obituary

Brian L. Belt, 61, of Elkhart, passed away on July 17, 2018 at home. He was born on April 11, 1957 in Roswell, NM to Walter S. and Susan J. (Vaughn) Belt, Jr.

Brian is survived by 2 daughters: Margaret (Joseph Lyons) Belt, of Plymouth, IN and Makayla Robinson of Elkhart; a son, Cole (Cathryn) Belt, of South Bend, IN; 3 grandchildren; 4 brothers: Ryan and Myron Belt of Elkhart and Darren and Tyrian Belt of South Bend, IN and a sister, Erin Monroe-Tschupp, of Galien, MI. Also surviving are a half-brother, Vincent Belt, and a half-sister, Vanessa Faulkner.

Brian was preceded in death by a daughter, Danielle Davis, and his parents.

He had most recently been employed at the Side Door Deli at Martin’s. He loved playing darts and pool.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday July 23 from 5-7 PM at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. According to the family’s wishes, cremation will follow.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o the funeral home.
