Jeffery W. Wise

Jeffery W. Wise, age 63, of Elkhart passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 14, 1955 in Elkhart to Wayne E. and Harriet (Lee) Wise.

Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Harriet of Elkhart and his brothers, Stephen P. (Barbara) Wise of Bristol and Nicolas D. (Lisa) Wise of Elkhart. He is also survived by his nieces, Stacy (Steven) Miller, Morgan (Brad) Boyd, Nicole Morris, Jessica Wise and Tara Wise as well as his great nieces and nephews, Seth, Sophie, Ella and Jameson. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Wayne and his brother, Douglas Wise.

Jeff was a loving son, brother and friend. He graduated from Elkhart Memorial class of 1974. He enjoyed singing and playing music throughout the Elkhart area “Jeff and Terry” were know at the fine arts festivals, Rhapsody in Green, the Elkhart Air Show and the Bristol Opera House as to name a few of the venues.

Friends may visit with family from 2pm – 8pm on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 11am on Friday, March 29, 2018 at the funeral home. Rev. David Cummings will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Jeff to Riley Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital drive, Indianapolis, IN 46202 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
