Natalia Amber Rice

Natalia Amber Rice, 7, of Bristol, passed away suddenly on Thurs. Oct. 11, 2018 in her home after a long journey w/ hydranencephaly.

Born to Craig and Maria Rice (Cataldo) on Dec. 11, 2010. Along with her parents, she is survived by her brother Lukah Rice, Grandparents Bruno & Marisa Cataldo, Bristol, Grandparents Dorinda & Mike Jones, Elkhart, Grandparents Ron & Sherri Rice, Elkhart, Great Grandmother Maria Cataldo, Elkhart, Great Grandmother Mary Jo Rice, Elkhart, Great Grandmother Giuseppa Garreffa, Italy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her twin sister. 

Natalia enjoyed playing baseball with the Challenger League, listening to music, watching Disney movies, bubble baths, boat rides, getting pampered, and hanging on the couch with her family. Being outside on summer days. Taking family trips to the zoo and fair rides.

Even though we are mourning her loss, we will cherish the years and moments we were blessed enough to have with her. We want to especially thank her home nurses and teachers throughout the years, Riley’s Children’s Hospital, and the Global Hydranencephaly Foundation.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn’t know it so it goes on flying anyways. Believe in the impossible (hydranencephaly foundation)

Visitation for Natalia will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday, Oct. 16th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 10 am to 11 am Wednesday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am.
