Danny Lee Groves

Danny Lee Groves, 50, of Middlebury passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. He was born on November 29, 1972 to Richard and Kathy Groves.

Danny worked at Eby Ford as a service advisor. He enjoyed street racing, riding on his motorcycles, UFC and golfing with his friends. He enjoyed BBQing with his friends and family, and at the end of a busy day falling asleep on the couch. His favorite time of all was the time he spent with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

Danny is survived by his wife Heather Ryman of Middlebury; children Gage Campbell of Kalamazoo, MI., Ethan Groves of Goshen, IN., Matthew Ryman of Elkhart, IN., Jillian (Michael) Yoder of Trenton, IL., Travis (Christine) Ryman of Goshen, IN., and Madison Ryman(Levi Robbins) of Middlebury, IN; his mother, Kathy (Randy) Conrad of Goshen, IN., his father, Richard (Barbara) Groves of Denniston, KY., and his step-mom Melanie (Nick) Newcomb of Goshen, IN., his step-dad Jeff (Allison) Miller of Rome City, IN., his siblings Chad (Michelle) Farquhar of Goshen and Angela Gray of Goshen., IN and Austin (Tana) Groves of Middlebury, IN., his grandchildren Hailey, Erica, Christian, Emma, Taylor, Jaxon, Teagan, Vivianne, Vanessa, Violette, Lennox and Sawyer and many, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Danny was preceded in death by his brother Matthew Groves and his brother-in-law Shawn Gray.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 12-3 and 4-8 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where  a time of sharing will be at 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral cost. A celebration of Danny’s life and BBQ will be held at a later date.
