Tracy Lynne (Freiburger) Burlage

Tracy Lynne Burlage, 53, of Mishawaka, passed away Friday March 3, 2023 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born June 19, 1969 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Richard and Mary Freiburger. Tracy married Todd Burlage on July 1, 2000 at Lakeside Park in Ft. Wayne.

Tracy graduated from Northrop High School in Ft. Wayne. She worked as a server at Eddie’s Steak Shed in Granger until they closed. She enjoyed working in her yard, planting beautiful flowers and watching them blossom and grow. However, fall was her least favorite season as she hated raking leaves. She enjoyed concerts and music festivals with her husband or an ice cold Coors Light by the pool with her friends. She was always up for a good game of Yahtzee. She was a member of the “Bad Mom’s Club.” She was always catching up with family and friends on Facebook and she would never be caught without wearing her robe around the house. Tracy’s greatest love was the time she spent with her family and friends.

Tracy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Todd; their children, Shannon Lanning of Ft. Wayne, IN., Brooke Myers of Constantine, MI., Courtney Burlage of Mishawaka, IN., Jack Burlage of Mishawaka, IN., Mary Burlage of Mishawaka, IN; grandchildren Derek and Levi Grudzinski and sisters Stacy Frieburger Doster, Karen Graves Lutz,  Carolyn Freiburger Jannings, Renee Freiburger Branton and brothers Michael Cowles and Neil Cowles. Tracy was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Freiburger and brothers Keith, Chuck and Ed Freiburger.
