Adam Bossnack

Adam Bossnack, age 89, of Elkhart, IN passed away with his wife by his side on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Adam was born on May 7,1937 i to Jakob and Helene Bossnack in Eastern Europe, he was a German Citizen. Adam married the love of his life, Rosa Lee Harris on October 23, 1965 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elkhart, IN.

Adam graduated from high school in  Albion Michigan; Western Michigan University and he earned his master's in education from Michigan State University. He taught US History at Elkhart Central High School for over 39 years. He enjoyed playing soccer with his children and grandchildren. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and will be sadly missed.

Adam is survived by his wife over 60 years Rosa Bossnack; their children Adam Vincent (Carla) Bossnack of Elkhart, IN., Melissa (Devin) Nuner of South Bend, IN., Christina (Travis) Snider of Goshen, IN. and John (Angie) Bossnack of Greencastle, IN; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and his sister Catherine. Adam was preceded in death by his parents Jakob and Helene Bossnack, his daughter Rachelle Godfread in 2014 and his sister Elizabeth Hunter.
