Bethany Kay Charlwood

Bethany Kay Charlwood, 51, of Goshen, passed away Sunday May 24, 2026 at her home. She was born March 27, 1975 in Valparaiso, IN to John David and Lois (Hamm) Thurner. She was raised in Hebron, IN. She married Christopher Charlwood in Elkhart on March 16, 1996. Together, they have lived in Goshen since 1998.

After graduating high school, Bethany attended Manchester University. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Martin's Supermarket for 21 years and Elkhart General Hospital for the past year.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Christopher, her mother Lois Thurner of Hebron, IN, her sister Rebecca Thurner of Hooksett, NH, her brother Geoff Thurner of Fresno, CA, and her felines Zoe and Kaylee. She was preceded in death by her father J. David Thurner.
