Betty J. Scearce, 85, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday Feb. 23, 2020 at Riverside Village, Elkhart. She was born May 4, 1934 in Athens, AL to Matthew and Lenora (Hargrove) Brooks. On Dec. 7, 1955 in Elkhart she married Stanley “Ike” Scearce who preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2015.
Surviving is a niece Michelle (Timothy) Hoover. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ruby Wills and Dorothy Paulk and nephews Jerry and Billy Miller.
There will be no services for Betty.
