Billy Wagers

Billy Wagers, age 60 of Elkhart, IN passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Billy was born on April 19, 1966 to Jake and Ann Wagers in Elkhart, IN.

Billy graduated from Elkhart Central High School, class of 1984. He worked at Morryde in Elkhart, IN for over 15 years as a forklift driver and laser machine operator, he was known by his colleges as “Mr. Morryde”. Billy loved sports and in his youth, he played football and baseball. He was always cheering on the fighting Irish of Notre Dame Football. He was a proud father, especially knowing his daughter Savannah will he serving her country in the United States Navy, his son Dustin went to college, Stephanie has always been the family caregiver and Madalinn after high school will pursue a degree in nursing. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, he will be sadly missed

Billy is survived by his children, Stephanie (Burton) Boyd of Elkhart, IN., Dustin (Staci) Singleton of Walkerton, IN., Savannah Wagers of Ligonier, IN and Madalinn Wagers of Ligonier, IN; grandchildren Greyson Boyd, Declan Boyd, Bennett Singleton and twins Lennon and Maverick Singleton. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Ann Wagers, his siblings John Wagers, Jack Wagers and Kenny Wagers.
