Brian Shaffer

Brian Emerson Shaffer, 64 of Elkhart, IN passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. Brian was born on April 24, 1961 to Gordon and Janet Shaffer in Niles, MI.

Brian graduated from Galien High School in Galien Michigan, class of 1980. He worked at Steel Master in Middlebury, IN currently known as L&W Engineering, where he worked as a machinist. Brian enjoyed going to tag sales, estate sales, garage sales, and yard sales if he heard the word sales he was there. He was always looking for a bargain or to complete his collection of cookbooks, glass ware or fine China collections. He enjoyed cooking and sometimes he would dabble in cake decorating, of course he did a beautiful job. He enjoyed spending time watching movies and tv series at home with his companion John.

Brian is survived by his companion John Roberts of Elkhart, IN and his cousin Kim (Duane) Neuerberg of South Carolina. Brian was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Janet Shaffer.
