Bruce D. Mann

Bruce D. Mann, 81, of Elkhart, passed away Friday Oct. 13, 2017 at Elkhart Hospice House.

He was born Sept. 27, 1936 in Elkhart to Walter Earl and Juanita (Zigler) Mann. He married Patricia J. Hodgen on June 29, 1957 in Elkhart. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia, 2 daughters, Cynthia (Gregg) Doberenz of Goshen and Jennifer (Jeffery) Pummill of Elkhart; a son, Bruce Douglas (Joann) Mann of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Raymond E., Carl Eugene, and Phillip Mann.

Bruce graduated from Elkhart High School in 1954 and served as an apprentice for NIBCO. He retired as owner of Machinery Mann. He previously worked for Niblock Machinery Co. and Taylor Products.

He attended the First Baptist Church and was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.

The family will receive visitors from 1 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, Nov. 4th at the First Baptist Church where the service will begin at 2 pm. Rev. Phil Byars will officiate. Entombment will be at Faith Mausoleum, Rice Cemetery at a later date.
