Carol (Miller) Tice

Carol S. Tice, 84 of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Greenleaf Health Campus. Carol was born on December 14, 1938 in Middlebury, IN  to Vernon and Rosa A. Miller. She married Kenneth Tice on October 7, 1962 in Elkhart, he preceded her in death on July 20, 2019.

Carol is survived by her 2 sons, Todd (Sheila) Tice of Middlebury and Mark (Stephanie) Tice of South Bend; 4 grandchildren, Megan (Andrew) Strebin, Tyler (Nikki Piechocki) Tice, Mark (Molly) Tice II and Austin Tice and 4 great-grandchildren Tyler, Avery, Sadie and Eleanor; her 3 sisters, Mary K. (Paul) Bradley, Shirley J. (Bruce) Hamilton and Betty L. (Joe) Gruber.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings George S. (Emma) Miller, Lester L. (Edna) Miller, James A. (Beverly) Miller, Nora A. King and Jesse (Arlene) Miller.

Carol graduated from Concord High School. In her youth she worked for over 20 years Miles Laboratories. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Carol was wonderful, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family.

Visitation for Carol will be from 3-6 pm Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Faith United Methodist Church, 22045 CR 18, Goshen, IN 46528 Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the church with visitation will be one hour before funeral services.  Rev. John Hogsett will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery, where Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the Tice family.
