Carol Whitman

Carol L. (Roberts) Whitman, 79 of Elkhart, IN peacefully went to Heaven on September 7, 2024.

She was born in Bradshaw, West Virginia on September 9,1944 to Charles & Pearl Roberts. She married Grady "Kenneth" Whitman (deceased September 13, 2016) on October 31,1963 in Elkhart. Kenny & Carol Whitman have 4 children, 2 daughters, Tonya (Kevin) Stout of Franklin, TN, Wanda Ball and two sons, Charlie Whitman, and Kenny (Beth) Whitman of Elkhart. Carol (Grandma, Granny, G$Money) lived & LOVED BIG for her children & grandchildren. Kenny Leon (deceased), Keith Ball, T.K. (Kelly), Dalton (Caleigh), Dustin, Clinton & Hunter (Kaelyn) Whitman, Kelsey Crandall, Brielle (Eric) Lambdin, Siarra, & Kiah Stout. Great grandchildren; Mackenzie, Braxton, Peysyn, Bella, Aaliya, Emmit, Emmeri, Mylah Jean, Addison, great-great-grandchild Nateo Richcreek. Carol's 15 siblings include (deceased) Leonard, Phyllis, Louise, Sonja, Luther, Darrell, Iris, Sonie & James Roberts. (Living) Jackie, Charles, Mary (Chester), Carl, Nyta (Tilford) & Chris Roberts.

Kenny & Carol were the founders of Midwest Auto Locators & retired after 30 years.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN, 46514 and from 10am to 11 am on Friday, September 13, 2024, where funeral services will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
