Christopher Reed

Christopher Reed, 70, of Cassopolis, MI passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in Elkhart, IN. He was born on September 24, 1955 in Niles, MI to Dale and Rosemary Reed.

Christopher worked as an RV pattern maker for many years with Best Plastics, Paramount Plastics, Best Form Plastics and owned and operated CR Specialties for ten years. He also had a background in farming, working at both Reed Farms and Kirkoffer Farms.

In his retirement, he could often be found mowing, something he enjoyed greatly, and tractor pulling. He enjoyed quiet afternoons spent fishing and the excitement of off-roading on his dune buggy. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his friends and family. He will be sadly missed.

Christopher is survived by his son, Steven (Kandy) Reed, grandchildren; Brady Reed, Jacob Reece, Caden Reece and Addison Sidenbender, and siblings; Greg Reed, David Reed, Rosalie (Josh) Overmyer and Suzanne Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Dale and Rosemary Reed, daughter, Nancy Reed, and sister, Ruthanne Reed.

Friends may gather for a celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the American Legion in Edwardsburg, 25751 US 12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112.
