Donna Jean Sanders

Donna Jean Sanders, 57 of Elkhart passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 surrounded by her family. Donna was born on February 3, 1968 in Demorest, Georgia to Bobby and Sandra Sanders.

Donna enjoyed listening to 80’s rock-roll and playing card games, especially solitary. She loved to spend time with her friends and family. She will be sadly missed.

Donna is survived by her daughters; Dawnyel Sanders of Kokomo, IN and Katrina Sanders & Jeffery Mortimer of Elkhart, IN; her grandchildren, Karmah, Alayah, Brayden, Malachi,Joselynn, Kaseyn and Xavier; one great-grandchild on the way sister, Patty Mitchell of Elkhart, IN and brother, Bobby Sanders, Jr. of South Bend, IN; and her boyfriend Lamar Gay of Mishawaka, IN Donna was preceded in death by her parents Bobby Sanders, Sr., and Sandra Hill; her sister Melinda Sanders and her grandson Maddox Mortimer.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes there will be no services at this time. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting Donna’s family.
