Dorothy R. Billings

Dorothy R. Billings, age 60, passed away on January 22, 2022. Dorothy was born on October 3, 1961 in Shelby, Mississippi to Roscoe and Rosemary Billings.

Dorothy graduated from Broad Street High School in Shelby, MS. She loved music and was listed in the Who’s Who in music. She was known for playing the drums and was the first female drummer. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by her children Domini Billings of Elkhart, Monique Billings of Indianapolis, twins Daltrina Billings of Indianapolis and Don’ Damien Billings of Elkhart;  her father Roscoe Billings, Sr., of Elkhart; grandchildren Ayzyana, Reginald, Richard, Gregory, Taylin and Aiyana; her siblings Tara Morris of Elkhart, Shelia Billings of Elkhart, Anthony Billings, Sr. of Waco, TX., Cynthia Billings of Elkhart, Lydia Billings of Elkhart, Roscoe Billings, Jr. of DeSoto, TX., Preston Moore of Chicago, IL., Brenda Murray of Chicago, IL.and a hot of nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother Rosemary Billings.
