Douglas W. Lucius

Douglas W. Lucius, 52, of Elkhart, IN, passed away on Monday September 9, 2024, at home. Doug was born on August 21, 1972, in Willard, OH to the late Joseph Lucius and Connie Garcia. Douglas graduated Class of 1990 from Buckeye Central High School, in New Washington, OH.

In his free time Doug loved going to car shows and taking care of his cars, paying attention to every detail imaginable. Doug also enjoyed watching and cheering for Michigan football and collecting Titanic Memorabilia. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.

Doug is survived by 4 children, Brittany Lucius of Shelby, OH, Alex Lucius of Elkhart, IN, Carmen Lucius of Elkhart, IN, and Donny Lucius of Kentucky; a stepfather Joe Garcia; a grandchild Ali Onusic; Brother, Dan Stockmaster, and Sister, Monica Ackerman. Douglas is preceded by his parents Joseph Lucius and Connie Garcia, a sister Dana Stockmaster, and a brother Donnie Lucius.

Visitation will be from 2pm to 3pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531, Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN, 46514, where a celebration of life will begin at 3pm. A memorial contribution for Doug may be made to the funeral home, to assist with funeral expenses.
