Edward Dorian Leszynski, Sr

Edward Dorian Leszynski Sr., 78, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. Ed was born on April 16, 1947 in Chicago, IL to John and Lucille Leszynski. He married Linda Rice in 1967 and she preceded him in death in 2001.

Ed worked for several years installing flooring in many people’s homes. He loved to be outside, especially when it came to being in the water, from being on a boat with friends or spending quiet time fishing. He was a certified scuba instructor and enjoyed deep sea diving. Most of all Ed loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Ed is survived by his sons, Edward Dorian Leszynski, JR of Elkhart, IN and Matthew John (Farah) Leszynski of Sterling, IN, his grandchildren, Matthew, Mia, Michael, Maximilian and Mason. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother, Thomas Leszynski and sister, Deborah Henning.

In keeping with Ed’s wishes he will be laid to rest next to wife Linda at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums in River Grove, IL.
