Edwin “AL” Wilfert, 78 of Elkhart died April 16, 2012 at Woodland Manor, Elkhart.
He was born May 15, 1933 in South Bend to Clyde E. and Hazel M. (Allen) Wilfert and married Patricia A. O”Donnell on Aug. 23, 1959 in Elkhart. She died on May 16, 1999. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel and a brother, Cecil Wilfert.
Al worked as a distributor for Homes and Lifestyle magazine since 1984.
Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart is assisting with cremation arrangements. Burial will take place at Adamsville Cemetery at a later date.
