Erich E. Conran

Erich Conran, age 67, of Elkhart, IN, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026. He was born on August 9, 1959, in South Bend, IN to Donald and Elizabeth Conran. On May 17, 2018, he married Sandra Rosas.

Erich worked for places such as Elkhart General Hospital, Dexter Axel, and Triangle Rubber and Plastics, where he worked for 19 years. He was an incredible chef who loved to cook for his family. When he wasn’t in the kitchen, Erich could be found watching how-to videos on YouTube, using his handyman skills to work on projects around the house or enjoying time on the lake.

Erich is survived by his wife, Sandra Conran of Elkhart, IN, son, Erich Conran of Elkhart, IN, step-children; Montserrt Gomez and Sandra Ramos, of Mexico, grandchildren; Ashton, Lucas, Ellie, Lily and Dylan, siblings; Kevin (Darcie) Conran of Minneapolis, MN, Heather Eslinger of South Bend, IN, Melissa Welsh of Virginia, and Elizabeth (Allen) Cover or Vandalia, MI, and his beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elizabeth Conran, daughter, Rachel Alberry, and sister, Michelle Jahanpour.

A visitation will be from 3:30pm-4:30pm on Friday, September 18, 2026 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1108 South Main Street, Elkhart, IN 46516. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:30pm. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN is assisting the family.
