Eva Justine (Dobrodt) Brewer

Eva Justine Brewer, 80 of Union, Michigan passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at Elkhart General Hospital. Eva was born July 11, 1943 in South Bend, IN  to Walter and Dorothy Dobrodt. She married Wayne Brewer on June 7, 2000 at Grace Lutheran Church.

Eva is survived by her husband of 23 years, Wayne Brewer, her children Susan (Doug) Block of Crestview, FL., and John  (Lisa) Klopenstine of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Cassandra (Tony) Rockweiler, Courtney (Brandon) Bess and Caitlyn (Branden ) Tiblier; great-grandchildren Liam and  Emma Rockweiler and Derrick and Elaina Bess; brothers Robert (Betsy) Dobrodt of Elkhart and Dennis (Susan) Dobrodt of Naperville, IL. Eva was preceded in death by her parents.

Eva retired from Hibshman Screw Machine Products in Union, MI. She enjoyed working in her yard and planting flowers to make her home a beautiful place. She loved pets and spending time with friends and especially her family.

Visitation will be from 12-3pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 3 pm. Sister Nora Frost from Grace Lutheran Church will officiate. Eva’s ashes will be laid to rest at Plum Grove Cemetery in Union Michigan at a later date.
