Faith Anne Yvonne McDonald, age 25 of Elkhart, IN passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Faith was born on August 16, 2000, to Wayne and Fay McDonald in Elkhart, IN.
Faith graduated from Great Lakes Adventist Academy in Cedar Lake, MI; attended Andrews University; and she graduated in biochemistry from Goshen College. Faith was preparing to do her masters in pursuit of becoming a perfusionist and was working at the registrar's office at Goshen Hospital. Faith was very adventurous from skiing, canyoning, to playing and watching basketball. She never had a dull moment with her love for traveling, music, working on mission trips with her church family and learning the spanish language. She was a member of Elkhart Seventh-day Adventist Church. Most of all she loved the Lord. She will be sadly missed.
Faith is survived by her loving parents Wayne and Fay McDonald of Elkhart, IN., her brother Phillip McDonald of Elkhart, IN., special cousins that where more like her brother and sister, Veronica and Oliver Bwalya, grandmothers Anne Cheatham of Pennsylvania and Yvonne (Albert) Morris of Georgia; aunts and uncles, Viola Ngándu, Eldad Cheatham, Crystal Cheatham, Oliver (Vanessa) Cheatham, Abraham Cheatham, Prince (Ruth) Ngándu, Moses Ngándu, Robert Ngándu, Mirrabelle (Sangwani) Manda, Jeffrey (Tasha) McDonald, Trecia Morris and Althea Morris; grand aunts, Elizabeth (Eugene) Bell, Grace (Marvin ) Brown and special aunt Nikhol Cheatham as well as several nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Faith was preceded in death by her grandfathers Oliver Cheatham and Moses H. Ng'andu and uncle Orton Ng'andu.
Visitation will be held from 10am- 11am on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Elkhart Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3601 East Bristol, IN Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 11am. Burial will be private.
