Glenn Whitener

Glenn Whitener, 69, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday December 2, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1952 in South Bend to Thelbert and Lula Mae Whitener. He married Maggie Washington

Glenn worked for the Elkhart City Street Department and a clerk for the Post Office. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling the country.

Surviving are his wife Maggie, sister Durethe Whitener, nieces and nephews, Felicia Whitener, Tellys Whitener, Michael Whitener, Daquan Whitener, Ciniah Cotton, Randal (Lagenita) Anderson, Darrell Green, Drasha Green and Lamont Green and several great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Friday Dec. 10, 2021 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Whitener family.
