Helen Lois (Eby) Alexander

Helen Lois Alexander, 88, of Whitehall, MI passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Trinity Hospital in Muskegon, MI. Helen was born on June 13, 1935 to Harry and Inez
Eby in Bristol, IN Helen graduated from Ball State University in 1955 where she earned her bachelor's in education degree. While at Ball State she met the love of her life, Jack Alexander. They were married on March 11, 1955 in Vistula, Indiana. They settled in Muncie, IN, where they raised their family and Jack established his pediatric practice. She was a teacher in her early years of marriage. After retirement, they spent their summers at Duck Lake in
Michigan and winters in Arizona.
A couple of trips on Helen's bucket list took her on an African Safari and she traveled with her children and their spouses to Alaska and experienced the beautiful view of Mt. Denali. Most of all Helen loved to spend time with friends and family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren, cooking and preparing
large meals for family gatherings. Helen is survived by her children, Chip (Jeanne) Alexander of Muncie, IN., Karla J. (Tim) Sampson of Spring Lake, MI., Kent B. (Mary Ellen) Alexander of Myrtle Beach, SC., and Jeff Alexander Stacy -deceased) of Bristol, IN; 9 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Inez Eby,
husband Jack Alexander, sisters, Doris Lang and Carol Eby. Visitation will be from 12- 1pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Bivd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be at 1pm. Burial will follow at Vistula Cemetery in Bristol, IN. Online condolences may
