Jack Lee Cook, Sr.

Jack Lee Cook, Sr., 65, of Bristol, passed away Saturday November 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 3, 1960 to Benjamin and Ruby Cook, in Elkhart, IN. Jack married Tammy S. Wright on June 15, 1985 in Elkhart, IN.

Jack graduated from Concord High School class of 1980 and worked as a tank tester for Ameri-Kart Corporation for over 35 years. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting and being in the water canoeing. He truly loved his sons, and he never missed any event they were in, from sporting events to the marching band. Jack also enjoyed traveling to such places as Niagara Falls and the alligator farm in Louisiana. Most of all Jack loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Tammy, sons, Isaha (Samantha) Cook of Whitestown, IN., Jack Lee (Kathrin) Cook, Jr. of Ricon, GA, grandchildren, Jack Lee Cook, III, Connor Cook and Adeline Cook, his mom, Ruby Cook of Goshen, IN; siblings, Louann (Joshua) King of Goshen, IN, Linda (Curtis) Perry of Osceola, IN and James “Jim” Cook of Elkhart, IN. Jack was preceded in death by his dad, Benjamin Cook.

Visitation for Jack will be from 3-6 pm on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be at 6pm with Pastor Steve Lewis officiating.
