Jackie "Jack" Lee Shanholt

Jackie “Jack” Lee Shanholt, 90, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday April 21, 2026 at East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elkhart, IN. He was born December 22, 1935 in Elkhart to Ira William and Maxine Marie Shanholt. He married Janet Dee Trigg on Aug. 20, 1955, in LaGrange, IN. She preceded him in death on February 4, 2011.

Jack was the owner with his wife Janet of Shanholt’s Office Cleaning since 1974. He enjoyed fishing and was an F.B.I. Jesus “Firm Believer in Jesus”

Surviving are his daughter, Balinda S. (Frank Thompson) Shanholt of Elkhart; sons Gregory L. (Patricia) Shanholt of Bristol, IN., Ryan L. Shanholt of Elkhart, IN., and Jack L. Shanholt Jr. of Bristol, IN; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514 funeral services will be at 4pm where his grandson, Daniel Daher will officiate. Burial will be at 10 am on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen, IN.
