Jacob L. Wenger, 90, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Elkhart Place. Jacob was born on July 20, 1934, in Anderson, IN to the late Ezra and Martha Wenger. Jacob was engaged on October, 31, 1956 to Shirley "Tootsie" Radtke and was married on July 20, 1957, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marquette, MI.
Jacob served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, being stationed at KI Sawyer in Marquette, MI. and Okinawa, Japan. He served for a total of 9 years and entered the United States Army National Guard after completing his time in the Air Force. Jacob was an avid enthusiast of motorcycles and was a member of the Goldwing Motorcycle Chapter. He loved anything to do with animals, traveling and always loved the exciting thrill of riding roller coasters.
Jacob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley "Tootsie"; 2 sons, David (Kim) Wenger, of Huntsville, AL and Jeff (Rhonda) Wenger of North Webster, IN; 2 daughters, Julie (Mike) Young, of Indianapolis, IN and Lori (Randy) Bowling of New Paris, IN. Jacob is also survived by his 8 Grandkids and 4 Great-Grandkids. Jacob was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Don Wenger.
In keeping with Jacob's wishes there will be no formal services held at this time.
