James Lee Richardson

James L. Richardson, 82, of Elkhart IN, passed away on November 21, 2024 at Elkhart Place. James was born on September 21, 1942, to Edwin and Louise Richardson, in Fort Wayne, IN where he graduated from South Side High School. James obtained his bachelor’s degree at IUPU in Fort Wayne, IN. He spent his career in engineering for many years, retiring from Keystone RV. James enjoyed woodworking, cycling, and golf.

James is survived by daughter, Amy L. (James) Davies, son, James E. Richardson, granddaughter Hannah J. Davies, all of Elkhart, IN. James is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Louise Richardson, first wife of over 35 years and the mother to his children, Jane Ann Richardson, and his second wife of over 25 years, Joan Richardson. James will be dearly missed by those who loved him. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart, IN, will be assisting the family in the making of funeral arrangements.
