Janet S. Johnson

Janet S. Johnson, 73, of Elkhart, passed away Friday May 5 at home surrounded by her family.

Janet was born May 3, 1944 in Elkhart to Gerald D. and Mildred E. (Cook) Armstrong.

On Nov. 14, 1981 she married Larry G. Johnson who survives along with a son Scott A. Miller,

4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a sister Wanda E. Funderburk, and a beloved friend, Tonja Rienks.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Joyce Ellen Miller in 1994, a brother Lance Corporal Douglas W. Armstrong in 1968 and a grandson.

Janet graduated from Concord High School in 1962.

Graveside services will be Tuesday May 9 at 10 AM at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart with Pastor Ed Ritchie officiating.

Memorials may be made to Jamestown Senior Citizen Group.
