Jeanette Marie Snyder

Jeanette Marie Snyder, age 74 of Mishawaka, IN passed away on February 19, 2026 with her family by her side at the Center for Hospice Care- Ernestine Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN. Jeanette was born on October 12,1949 to Alfonzo and Marie Schelstraete in Mishawaka, IN.

Jeanette worked at IUSB and Brown Mackie College in the finical assistance department. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, specially making baby blankets. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, and she will be sadly missed.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Kathrine (Shane) Miller of Mishawaka, IN., and Jeremy Snyder of Mishawaka, IN; grandchildren Isaiah and Abigail and her siblings, Patricia Scott of New Carlise, IN., Laura Clayton of Mishawaka, IN and Mark Schelstraete. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Alfonzo and Maria Schelstraete, her sister Carolyn Doolittle, her son Robert Snyder and father of her children Dennis Lee Snyder.

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
