Jenny Sotebeer

Jennifer “Jenny” Sotebeer, 44 of Elkhart, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones at the Center for Hospice Care, Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN., after a hard fought battle with cancer. Jenny was born on October 16, 1980 in Elkhart, IN to Mike and Cindy Marshall. She married Chad Sotebeer on November 26, 2005 in Bonita Springs, FL.

Jenny graduated from Northridge High School, class of 1999. She also graduated from Indiana University South Bend. Jenny worked as a CT and x-ray Technician for over 25 years with Beacon Health, 22 of these years at Elkhart General Hospital. She enjoyed being outside, golfing or kayaking. She enjoyed going to concerts and attending sporting events, where she was always known to be the loudest cheerer in the stands. Jenny loved to spend time with her family and friends. Jenny left an impact on every person she met and brought light to every room she walked into. She was truly an angel here on earth and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Jenny is survived by her husband Chad Sotebeer and their daughters, Taylor (Brandon Abel) Sotebeer, Sophia Rose Sotebeer and Whitney Sotebeer; parents Mike and Cindy Marshall all of Elkhart, IN., and her sister Marissa (Matt) Golla of Bloomberg, PA. Jenny was preceded in death by her sister Leslie Marshall.

In keeping with Jenny wishes there will be a celebration of life service on May 18, 2025, (place and time yet to be determined).
