Jerry C. Kissinger

Jerry C. Kissinger, 77, of Union, MI passed away March 12, 2008 at Valley View Healthcare Center, Elkhart after an extended illness.

He was born to Clinton and Kathryn (Shaw) Kissinger and married Betty C. Dicken on November 11, 1975 in Elkhart. She survives with a daughter, Debra (Barry) Landis of Bristol, 2 sons, Doyle C. Cloud and Dale Cloud both of Union, MI, 1 grandson, and 2 sisters, Colleen Wogomon of Colon, MI and Anna Dee Luce of Elkhart. A nephew preceded in death.

Mr. Kissinger graduated from Concord High School and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy after 30 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose # 599 Elkhart; Life member of VFW, Marcellus, MI; Life member of D.A.V. Goshen; Life member of American Legion #143 Bristol and enjoyed camping and fishing.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday. Burial will be at East Union Cemetery where the U.S. Navy funeral honors and American Legion # 308 will conduct military graveside honors.

Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
