John Bryan

John Bryan, 45, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born on April 4, 1978 in Santa Ana, CA to James and Robyn Bryan. He was raised in Elkhart and married Vickie Merritt in Elkhart, IN.

John honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked in production at Grand Design RV. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing video games and Dungeons and Dragons with his family and friends. He enjoyed tinkering and finding ways to repurpose things to better suit his needs. He had a love for guns and taught his family the same respect that he had for guns. More recently he enjoyed 3D printing.  Most of all John was a loving, devoted husband, father, papa, he always put his family first.  He would do anything for anyone and will be greatly missed.

John is survived by his wife, Vickie Bryan; their children Jessica Williams of Bristol, Erika Fields of Elkhart and Charles Secor of Bristol; his mother Robyn (Lee) Burnside of Hoquiam, WA; grandchildren, Nikloe, Ty’Shaun, Kaylee, Bailey, Zoey, Dylan, Vivienne and Charlie; his siblings Brandy (Jason) Tillotson of Overland Park, KS. Scott (Theresa) Bryan of Hoquiam, WA. John was preceded in death by his father James Bryan and his brother Patrick Bryan.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will follow at 4pm. A motorcycle funeral procession will start at 1:30 on Monday,  June 5, 2023 at the funeral home going to Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
