John Alfred Flowers, 54 of Elkhart passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at his residence.
He was born May 25, 1963 in Elkhart to Roy E. and Mary E. (Mapes) Flowers Sr. Surviving are 5 siblings, Danny Flowers of Goshen, Clarence Flowers of Morgantown, IN, Rosetta Wolfe of Elkhart, and Timothy and James Flowers both of Francis Creek, WI; 3 nieces and 3 nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Donald and Roy Flowers Jr. and a niece, Angel Shelby.
John worked at Venture Welding and Imperial Stamping Co. before becoming disabled. He loved talking, collecting coins and going to the library.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, Sept. 19th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation.
Memorials may be given to the family.
