Judith Ann (Walters) Miller

Judith Ann Miller, 77, of Elkhart passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Elkhart General Hospital. Judy was born on August 24, 1945 to Robert J. and Anna R. Walters in Elkhart, IN. Judy married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, John L. Miller, II on May 21, 1966 at Simpson Church in Elkhart, IN together they have 56 years of marriage.

Judy graduated from Elkhart High School, class of 1963. She loved being a mom to her sons Todd and Troy, a sister to Dianne and a grandma to her grandchildren and an aunt to her nieces and nephews. She volunteered at their schools from being a room mom, team mother, the lunch lady and PTA president, just to name a few. Her career began after her sons were raised and she worked at Central High School for  over 23 years as Registrar. Her true love in life was spending time with her husband and boys along with friends and family.

Judy is survived by her husband, John; their sons, Todd (Cheryl Ann) Miller of Elkhart and Troy (Kanesha) Miller of Noblesville, IN; grandchildren Jessica Ann Miller, Jonathan Miller, Aubri Miller and Lexi Miller, as well as her sister Dianne (John) Cleveland of Elkhart, IN

In keeping with Judy’s wishes there will be a time to gather from 4-8pm on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone, Blvd., IN 46514 where a celebration of Judy’s life, memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
