Kenneth H. Sheeley

Kenneth H. Sheeley,84 of 2400 College Avenue, Goshen, died February 1, 2008 @ 11:13 A.M. at Goshen General Hospital.He was born on April 1, 1923 in Niles, Michigan to Benjamin H. and Dora (Yaw) Sheeley.He married Thelma Browning in 1952. She died in 1984.He then married Edna Mae Bosh on October 19, 1979 in Elkhart.She died July 20, 2001.Surviving are four sons; Rex (Debra) of Kimmell, Indiana, David (Monnie) of LaGrange, Indiana, Kenneth Jr. of North Webster and Charles (Debbie) of Ft. Myers, Florida, twenty one grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three brothers; Harrison of Three Oaks, Michigan, Burton of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Marshall of Niles, Michigan and two sisters, Lila Truhn and Jean (Harold) Rickerman, both of Galien, Michigan.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Warren and Emmanuel and six sisters, Inez, June, Jewel, Marie, Ida and Rose.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service which will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home. Reverend Kim Huffman of Goshen Christian Church will officiate. Burial will take place at Whitehead Cemetery.

Mr. Sheeley worked as a janitor for the Elkhart Community School System. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Osceola.
