Laurie Carvin

Laurie Louise Carvin, age 62, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Center for Hospice Care~ Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN. Laurie was born on March 3, 1963 to William and Elizabeth Weber in Bay City, MI. She married John Henry Carvin.

Laurie graduated from Bay City Central High School. She loved to spend time with her family but more significantly she loved to spend time with her dog and cats. Laurie will be sadly missed.

Laurie is survived by her husband John Carvin, her son Trevor Thomas Guntermann of Cedar Springs, MI, 3 grandchildren and her sisters Mary (John) Seddon of Goshen, IN and Sherry MacKenzie of Elkhart, IN; nephew, Chris (Kailee) Seddon and niece, Kelsey Seddon. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents William and Elizabeth Weber and her brother-in-law David MacKenzie.
