Linda Sue O'Banion

Linda Sue O'Banion 75 years old, passed away yesterday at her daughter's home surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was preceded in death by her husband Jesse James O'Banion in 2007. They were together 24 hours, 7 days a week when he was alive.

Linda is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Larry )Taylor, her grandson Jesse (Becky)Taylor and granddaughter Jolene (Spencer) Conn. She is also survived by three great grandchildren Jamie Taylor, Levi Taylor and Abigail Conn. Linda was born and raised in Mishawaka IN. She has spent the last several years in Mottville, MI. The family wishes to thank her physician, Dr. Jason Marker, for his very personal and steadfast care. He made it possible for her to stay at home with her family for palliative care. Many family members assisted over the years. From shopping for the family, sitting with her, and caring when her daughter could not be there. The women at White Pigeon Pharmacy were always prompt and caring about her needs. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd.,Elkhart, IN 46514 was very compassionate in caring out of her final wishes. She wished to be cremated. The family will be gathering for private services to remember her. Thank you for all who have helped during this time. The family deeply appreciated all prayers and phone calls.
