Lisa Ann (Pletcher) (Harper) Joachim passed away unexpectantly on October 5th, 2020 in Lexington South Carolina. She was born on February 19, 1965 in Elkhart, IN to Randall J. Pletcher and Ruth Heiliger Pletcher. She had been married to Bill Joachim since June 15, 2004. In addition to her parents and husband, she survived by, one sister, Christina K. Pletcher, a step son, Kolby Joachim, and step-daughter-in-law, Brittany Joachim. She will also be remembered fondly by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Lisa is a graduate of Northridge High School where she was Homecoming Queen. She attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Lisa spent most of her working career with Hunt Manufacturing in North Carolina where she was a Customer Service Supervisor and Electronic Data Specialist. She retired in 2004 to become a “stay at home dog mom”. She will be remembered for her sharp sense of humor and engaging personality. She loved time with family and friends and loved to laugh. She and her grandmother Pauline were a formidable Euchre team and Lisa said on more than one occasion…”if it's worth playing, it’s worth cheating to win!” She and Bill were fortunate to be able to travel over their years together to some great places that left many wonderful memories. Perhaps the most memorable was their wedding in Laguna Beach attended by her parents and Bill’s son Kole. Lisa and Bill treasured each other’s company and were happiest when they were together. She loved animals in general, and dogs in particular. During their time together their family included canine family members Willie, Casey, Lilly, Lola, and Murph (who still misses her).
