Lois Irene (Emery) Sittig

Lois Irene Sittig (Emery) passed on October 27, 2020.  She was a graduate of Scio High School (OH), class of 1955.

She married Edwin F Sittig Jr in 1956 in St Thomas PA, and lived in Lombard, IL from 1965 to 2017, where she raised 5 children, enjoyed 13 grandchildren, and was a great-grandmother to 17 more. She took great joy in being “Aunt Lois” to many nieces and nephews, who will enjoy fond memories.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Skip Sittig (Michele), Daniel Sittig (Colleen), Susan Hall (Todd), Thomas Sittig (Kathleen), Kirby Sittig (Nicole). In addition to raising her children, she was a nanny to many others, in PA and IL, including her grandchildren, who enjoy loving memories of growing up together at Grandma's house.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years.
