Marcia L. Hamood

Marcia L. Hamood, age 66 of Goshen, IN passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Center for Hospice Care ~ Esther’s House in Elkhart, IN. Marcia was born on March 29, 1960 to Oris and Leona Miller in Hartville, OH.

Marcia worked as a receptionist in various places, such as Elcona Country Club, Gunite Corporation. She loved to sing karaoke with her friends. She loved to socialize with her church family and her friends at her apartment. Most of all she loved to spend time playing card games and baking, especially with her grandson, Peyton.

Marcia is survived by her son, Phillip (Keilah) Hamood of Granger, IN; grandchildren, Peyton, Kaidyn and Rachel; her sister Wanda (Jim) Runyon of Granger, IN and her nieces and nephews, Bethany (Preston) Drobeck, Julia (Marlon) Olivas, Michael (Leah) Runyon, Melinda (Billy) Wicks and Kevin (Mina) Slane. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents Oris and Leona Miller, and her sister Amy Miller.

Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where a memorial service will be held at 3 pm.
