Maria F. Hernandez Pacheco

Maria Florencia Hernandez Pacheco, age 56, of Elkhart passed away on Thursday February 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 27, 1962 in Mexico City, Mexico to Alejandro Blas Hernandez and Ana Maria Pacheco Montoya. On June 19, 1982 she married Joel Alvarez in Mexico City, Mexico.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Joel Alvarez, their children; Anayancy (Nestor) Serrato of Chicago, IL., Joel F. (Ana Ortega) Alvarez of Elkhart and Karen A. (Carlos Gallegos) of Mexico City, Mexico, as well as her grandchildren Giovanni, Jaylan, Donovan, Kaleb, Camila, Brayden and Keily. Maria is survived by her siblings, Teresa Carmona, Adela Carmona, Arturo Hernandez, Alejandra Hernandez, Alberto Hernandez, Armando Hernandez and Adriana Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Adrian Hernandez.

Friends may visit with family from 2pm to 8 pm on Saturday February 23, 2019 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart. Where a prayer services will be at 7:30pm with Fr.
