Mark Joe Vaughn

Mark Joe Vaughn, 65, of Elkhart, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1960 in Manchester, TN to Arlen and Betty Vaughn.

Mark worked for many years at Forest River, wiring cargo trailers and outfitting trailers with windows, among many other things. Mark was happiest when helping others and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Mark is survived by his mother, Betty Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his father, Arlen Vaughn and sisters; Tammy Yoder, Vickie Brown and Donna West.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:00 am at Rice Cemetery. Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN is assisting the family.
