Mark Ward

Mark E. Ward, 53, of Elkhart, passed away Friday February 18, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 10, 1968 in Elkhart to Michael Ward and Anita (Radous) Woodward. Surviving are his daughter, Savannah Tapia of Elkhart, brother, Joe Ward of Ozark, AR, his step-mom, Patricia Ottman of Edwardsburg, MI, 2 step-sisters, Lanora Patterson of Edwardsburg, Angela Mast of Elkhart, a step-brother, Clinton Ottman of Goshen and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents and a sister Linde’ Ward.

Mark served in the Army Reserves for many years. He had recently worked for United Trailers as a welder. Mark enjoyed working with his hands as a carpenter. He enjoyed playing pool with family and friends. He loved to help others that were in need. Mark will be greatly missed !

Friends may call from 2 to 5pm Monday Feb. 28, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where services will be held at 5pm. Pastor Tim Fisher of Crossroads Community Church will officiate.
