Marlene Marie Reilly

Marlene Marie Reilly, 89, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 surrounded by her family. Marlene was born on July 6, 1937 to Warren and Ida Fredericks in Wakarusa, IN. She married John “Ted” Reilly on June 20, 1963. He preceded her in death in 2018.

Marlene was a big sports fan and was dedicated to physical fitness. She enjoyed a good day on the golf course or tennis court, regular work-outs at the gym and watching basketball and football. She also enjoyed working in her yard and keeping immaculate flower beds. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

Marlene is survived by her son John and his wife Jessica of Raleigh NC, her sister Julie Horein of Florida and her beloved dog Maggie.

In keeping with Marlene’s wishes she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, IN.
