Martis Cordell Scalf

Martis Cordell Scalf, age 79, of Mishawaka passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his home. Martis was born on December 10, 1940 in Goshen to Dick and Mary George. He married Tonya Sue Willard on July 29, 1968 in Elkhart.

In his youth Martis enjoyed racing Sprint cars and  was a NASCAR fan, especially Martin Truex. Martis was a retired truck driver.

Martis is survived by his children, Russel Dowdy, Mary Fenner and Toni (Brent) Kreighbaum, grandchildren, John Dellinger, Candace Scalf, Courtney Fenner and Zack Kreighbaum, 11 great grandchildren. Martis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his grandson, Steven Scalf and his sister, Roxi Johnson
