Marvin R. Pruitt

Marvin “Ron” Pruitt, passed away Sept. 7, 2018 at the Elkhart Hospice House. He was born Oct. 21, 1938 in Hope, Indiana to Pete and Dorothy Pruitt.

Ron joined the U.S. Navy at age 16 and spent 3 years in service of his country.

Ron was a kind gentle soul who gave the gift of life to another by being an organ donor. Ron is survived by his brother, John Collins and his nephews and niece, Rick (JJ) Collins, John P. (Elizabeth) Collins, and Jennifer (Chris) Bradley.

Ron worked for Leer Inc. as the tool room supervisor until his retirement, and was a resident of Brentwood of Elkhart.
