Mary Alice Robbins

Mary Alice Robbins, age 79, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday August 19, 2026 at Esther’s House, Center for Hospice in Elkhart. She was born April 10, 1947 in Michigan City, IN to Forrest Leonard, Sr and Elizabeth Grace Flynn.

Mary worked in the RV industry as a cabinet maker, and she worked as a security guard for the Willows in Goshen. She was formerly a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed working in her yard, as she enjoyed having a beautiful yard and an immaculate home.

Mary is survived by her son John Hunter (Paula Ladd) Robbins of Seattle, WA., her daughter Dawn (Andrew) Florea of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren Samantha Florea, Jessica Florea, Bryce Florea, Colten Ladd, Nikita Florea, Poppaea Florea, Myracle Workman, siblings Rose (Grady) Jones, George Cornish, SR. and Kathy (Terry) Watwood. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Betty Jo Kittle, Forrest Leonard Flynn Jr., Vernon Cornish, Vicki Belvins, Albert Rell Jr., Karen Miracle; and grandson Jaedon Florea.

Visitation will be held from 10 am - 12pm on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 12 pm.
